The Unseen
I know everyone is thinking heavily about the fires engulfing the west coast right now, so I wanted to share this photo moment with you. [The edit made was to remove two tourists in the background with the clone tool which now looks like dope ass time portal – I’m not mad about it.]
But that’s not the point of this photo…
The point was to capture the bright orange sky in the background and to tell you about the things you can not see in the photo:

Last Wednesday was a frighteningly beautiful day all thanks to the infamous San Francisco Fog (a.k.a the one thing SF is good for).
That fog, or to be precise, the Marine Inversion Layer acted as a protective barrier where the smoke and pollution was unable to mix down past the layer causing the smoke to travel right over the Bay area for that day. Real cool.
Another thing you don’t see is a secluded Rose Garden and Greenhouse on the Island which is home to some of the rarest roses in the world.
It was peaceful sitting alone in the garden and spending meditative time under a (hopefully once and only in a lifetime) eerily orange sky…
